The Goal
The TEDxOhioStateUniversity 2022 Main Event: Bloom, featured 12 speakers who spoke on culture, science, art, and more to an audience of about 1000 people. 
I served as the 2021-2022 Design Director. As director I was responsible for leading my team through the process and execution of all design tasks for the main event. Design responsibilities included event theme and all relevant branding, stage graphics and animations, promotional material, audience engagement elements, team materials, and social media content. 
I managed my team by leading group meetings, delegating tasks, working in small groups and with individual members on specified tasks, and ensured that my team was provided with all information and resources needed to complete their deliverables. 
In addition to team management, I was also involved with design deliverables. My tasks included involvement in developing event branding and mark, related icons, and stage graphics, as well as managing event execution with the rest of the executive team, and running tech backstage on event day.

The Mark
The Bloom mark focuses on vibrancy, energy, and growth. The mark utilizes simple shapes that can later be applied to other identity aspects and event materials. 
Icons and Animations
We created a series of icons using the petal form from the Bloom mark. Each icon represents one of the speakers and the content of their talk. These icons were animated and used on stage to introduce each speaker.
